Star Students
The “Star Students” display is a school-wide collaboration that celebrates art, friendship, and our collective creative power. All elementary students read How to Catch a Star, a story of patience, companionship, and creativity. The character in the book works hard to catch a star of his very own. K-5 students also worked hard by painting their own star, choosing their unique colors and designs. The goal of the collaboration is to encourage students to reach for high standards and remind them that they are all capable of being “star students” — a title can mean something different depending on their individual strengths.
